Protecting the foam inserts from moisture is an important to build a long lasting spa cover. The foam cores in a Spa Guy replacement hot tub cover is heat sealed in a 4 mill vapor barrier. We use a cutting edge heat sealing machine to to seal and shrink the vapor barrier to the foam inserts.
