Warranty coverage

Vinyl and workmanship

Covered for five years from the purchase date.

Insulation

Covered for one year against water absorption determined to have been caused by normal use. The insulation warranty is void if the foam has been broken.

What the warranty does not cover

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, including:

1. Excessive chlorination of the water or splashing chlorine or other chemicals onto the vinyl.
2. Chafing or holes caused by dragging the cover across rough surfaces or storing it against sharp objects.
3. Broken foam caused by sitting, lying, or walking on the cover, or by excessive snow, standing water, or pets.
4. Wear or tearing at the hinge caused by a cover-lifting device.

Obtaining warranty service

If a defect is covered by this warranty, Spa Guy will repair or replace the spa cover or the components found to be defective. The purchaser is responsible for freight required to complete the repair.

Maintenance and care

Keep the cover clean using mild soap and water or a product specifically designed for spa covers. Do not use automotive-care products on the cover; they may react with the ultraviolet inhibitors and damage the vinyl.

Handle the cover carefully when placing it on or removing it from the spa. If rainwater or ice enters the cover, open the zippers and allow the cover to drain.
